Kristi's Dental Mission Trip to Peru

Hello Friends and Family!

Thank you for considering to support my volunteer trip to Peru this summer. Helping others has always been a passion of mine and I am thrilled to announce that I have been accepted to participate in a volunteer trip with the non-profit oraganization, A Broader View Foundation.

I am trying to raise $1,500 to cover the program costs which include housing, food, equipment and travel expenses. I will be volunteering 8 hours a day as a registered dental hygienist in Cusco, Peru for 10 days in July.

In the mornings I will be at a local dental clinic providing dental care and cleanings to the underserved population in Cusco. Some of these patients have never had a dental exam or cleaning in their lifetime and are in desperate need of care. In the afternoons I will be volunteering at local orphanage and womens shelter educating patients on the importance of oral health and teching them basic oral hygiene skills.

I hope to make a positive impact on the lives that I have been bleesed with the opportunity to touch and I look forward to expanding my cultural knowledge along the way.
